Privacy policy
This page explains what personal information LookSourced collects, why, and what you can do about it. LookSourced is in early development and collects very little.
Who we are
LookSourced is run by Michael Koral, based in the UK. For anything about your data, email hello@looksourced.com.
This website
- No accounts and no cookies of our own. You don't sign up to use this site or the demo.
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Visit statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other websites.
- Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google.
The demo
The sizes, budget and items you save in the demo are stored only in your own browser. They are never sent to us. You can remove them by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Our survey
Our shopper survey runs on Tally, which stores the answers for us. Your answers are anonymous unless you choose to leave your email address at the end. If you do, we use it only to invite you to a follow-up chat or to contact you about the prize draw. We never share it or sell it, and we delete it within 6 months. Tally's own privacy policy also applies.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply, and delete them when they're no longer needed.
Why we're allowed to use it
We rely on our legitimate interest in running and securing this website, and on your consent when you choose to give us your email address. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@looksourced.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We'll update this page as LookSourced grows, for example when we add accounts or retailer links, and change the date at the top.
